MagicCraft
Welcome to our thriving Minecraft community! Whether you're here to explore, build, or trade, our server offers a wide range of features to make your experience exciting and fun. With the recent addition of the Shopping District, you'll now have even more ways to interact with fellow players, buy rare items, and sell your creations.
Shopping District Overview
We’re excited to announce the opening of our brand-new Shopping District! This is a separate world where players can build shops, sell items, and trade with one another in a structured and visually appealing environment.
You’ll be able to set up shops to sell specific items, and you can buy from other players using diamonds or other items that the seller specifies. Honest trade is key, but admins can verify any shop if needed.
Accessing the Shopping District:
- Portal Location: The Shopping District portal is now located at the Hub. Step through and begin building your shop or browsing the marketplace!
Shop Rating System
In the Shopping District, maintaining quality is important. That’s why we’ve introduced a rating system using two types of tokens:
- Green Tokens: Awarded to shops that are visually appealing, well-constructed, and complete.
- Red Tokens: Given to shops that look unfinished or poorly designed (pop-up shops, for example).
Only admins can access and view the chest containing these tokens, and they will assign ratings based on shop appearance and quality.
Shop Categories
To make it easier for players to find what they need, the Shopping District is divided into four main sections:
1. Food Section 🍎
This section is dedicated to all farming-related items and food. If your shop sells crops, animal products, or anything related to farming, this is where you’ll want to set up. Items like wheat, milk, eggs, and farming tools all belong in this section.
2. Ores Section ⛏️
This area is for all ores and ore-related items. If your shop is centered around a specific ore like redstone, diamond, or iron, you can also sell items associated with that ore. For example, a Redstone Shop could sell redstone dust, pistons, and repeaters. Shops selling tools, weapons, or armor made from ores also go here.
3. Blocks Section 🧱
The Blocks Section includes any placeable block that isn’t an ore or redstone-related. Whether you're selling stone, wood, glass, or decorative blocks, this is the place to be. If it’s a legal block that can be placed in the game, you’ll find it here.
4. Misc Section 🌀
For items that don’t fit into the other categories, there’s the Misc Section. This is the space for tools, potions, special items, and anything else that’s legal to sell. If you’re selling items that don’t belong in Food, Ores, or Blocks, set up shop here!
Important Rules & Future Updates
- Permits will soon be required for selling certain high-value items, such as Netherite, Elytras, Enchanted Books, Maces, and Beacons. For now, these items cannot be sold until the permit system is fully implemented.
- Honesty is crucial for trade in the Shopping District. While admins can check for dishonest behavior, we trust players to follow the rules.
- More features coming soon, so stay tuned!
